Introduction 

 
The DX Engineering 

DXE-AL24 

 is a vertical antenna specifically designed for use with the 

optional 

Hi-Z Antennas’

 Receive Antenna Systems using the 

Hi-Z  Plus-6 High Impedance 

Amplifier

.  

 
The 

DXE-ALE-24

 does 

not

 come with any Hi-Z components. The user will have to purchase the 

optional Plus-6 High Impedance Amplifier for each AL-24 antenna. 
 
The 

DXE-AL-24

 vertical antenna is built with 6063 corrosion-resistant Aluminum Tubing 

Elements, custom drilled Mounting Plate, Stainless Steel V-Clamps, Cast Aluminum Saddle 
Clamps and Stainless Steel hardware, this antenna is very durable and attractive.    
 
Hi-Z Antennas has been producing excellent low band receiving systems for many years. Hi-Z’s 
focus on improvements to low noise components and array systems 
has been a singular goal that has resulted in high performance 
receiving antennas for Amateur and radio enthusiasts, especially for 
160 meters, 80 meters and AM DXing. Hi-Z Antennas’ specialized 
systems have been pushing the boundaries of weak signal HF 
reception with directional arrays that have been installed and used 
around the world. They are recommended by some of the world’s leading contesters and DXers and 
are now available exclusively from DX Engineering.

Z system you are installing. Hi-Z products are available from DX Engineering and can be
