2 Safety
2.1 General safety information
Reading the safety information
This chapter contains important safety information.
1. As the operator, you must read and understand this safety information before putting the
device into operation. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to dangers and violate
existing legislation.
2. You must retain this safety information for future use.
DANGER
Danger due to electrical voltage
Contact with live wires may result in severe physical injury or death.
ü
Work on electrical installations must be performed only by qualified electrical specialists.
ü
The statutory local safety provisions and the technical specifications must be complied
with.
1. Switch off the device power supply.
2. Secure the device against restarting.
3. Wait for five minutes until the device is fully discharged.
4. Check that no voltage is present.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to corrosive substances
Contact with corrosive substances can cause permanent damage to the eyes, skin and respir-
atory system.

Only authorised and trained personnel is permitted to work with chemicals.
1. Before using chemicals, consult the relevant safety data sheets and take the necessary
safety measures.
2. Wear the recommended protective equipment.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly after working with chemicals.
4. In the case of contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of clear water
and consult a doctor.

Personal injury and property damage due to improper operation
The improper operation of the device may result in personal injury and property damage.

The personnel used to perform installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and
servicing work must have the appropriate qualification. The operator must clearly stipulate
areas of responsibility and the necessary monitoring.
