Preparing for disinfection
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to corrosive substances
Contact with corrosive substances can cause permanent damage to the eyes, skin and respir-
atory system.

Only authorised and trained personnel is permitted to work with chemicals.
1. Before using chemicals, consult the relevant safety data sheets and take the necessary
safety measures.
2. Wear the recommended protective equipment.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly after working with chemicals.
4. In the case of contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of clear water
and consult a doctor.
To prepare for disinfection, proceed as follows:
1) Open the device door.
2) Switch off the device at the
main switch

Wait for two to three minutes until the pressure is released.
3) Unscrew the filter housing with the filter key.
CAUTION! Filter housing is filled with water.
4) Empty and clean the filter housing.
5) Remove the old pre-filter and insert the new pre-filter into the filter housing.
6) Fill the quantity of AQUARIS DES stipulated in the

000] between the filter and the filter housing.
7) Insert the housing with the pre-filter into the filter head. Ensure that it is centred correctly
during the insertion.
8) Screw on the filter housing again by hand.
9) Close the device door.

Performing the disinfection
To perform the disinfection, proceed as follows:
1) In the main menu, use the

to confirm.
