Accessing the Camera

The View screen includes the following icons, buttons, controls and menus:
Item Description
Video Stream Select the video stream: H.264, MJPEG, or HTTP JPEG.
You can select multiple video streams from a single
camera, which open in separate browser windows.
HTTP JPEG is recommended for:

Accessing a unit that is located behind a
firewall at a remote site

Transmitting video via HTTP over remote
networks with low bandwidth

Remote configuration of the unit over the
web
Snapshot Click the icon to take a snapshot of the image.
View Size Adjust the video viewing window to the following
sizes: 160 x 120, 320 x 240, or 640 x 480 (default).
The icon above the top-right corner of the image
indicates whether constant recording is active (red
dot) or inactive (gray dot).
