In this FAQ information/questions in regard to Audio are gathered.
I hear high pitch sound coming from below playfield
In the TBL 3 steppermotors are used which can sometimes cause a high pitch sound. To check
if it’s a stepper motor you hear just simple open the coindoor when you hear the sound. If it
than stops it’s the stepper motor(s). When you open the coindoor the voltage towards the
stepper motors is switched off -> sound caused by stepper motor(s) disappears.
I hear a humm/distortion coming from the speaker(s)
For this we would like you to ask the following:

Reseat the USB connectors on both sides of the USB cable running from the PC to the
audioboard. It is the grey cable in below picture. Preferred position for the P3ROC USB cable
and the Audio board cable are the USB2.0 ports on the right row of USB ports.
