Cartridge Dust Collector

7.7 INLET GATE ASSEMBLY

Inlet gate assemblies are available to mount directly to
the dust collector inlet locations. The inlet gates are
designed to act as a damper or close-off plate to regulate
proper airflow to the dust collector. The inlet gate
assembly consists of an inlet collar, close-off plate, space
plate and mounting hardware. The inlet gates are not
designed to be slide gates. Some field installation
assembly is required.

7.8 PNEUMATIC VALVE ASSEMBLY KIT

A pneumatic valve assembly kit is available for the
Supra-Conic

®

dust collector when the kit is configured for

customer-supplied compressed air. Some field
installation assembly is required. This assembly consists
of a shutoff valve, pressure regulator with pressure
gauge, centrifuge air line filter assembly, oil removal filter
assembly and two unions. Locate the pneumatic valve
assembly kit in the compressed air line as close to the
dust collector as possible. Refer to Figure 18 for general
pneumatic valve assembly kit layout.

7.9 REMOTE BLOWER START/STOP

ASSEMBLY

A remote blower start/stop pushbutton station is available

for field installation on Supra-Conic

®

assemblies

configured with a combination magnetic motor/blower
starter control package supplied by UAS. The
combination magnetic motor/blower starter control
package must be configured and wired in accordance
with Figures 4 and 5. The customer is required to
supply interconnecting signal cord and mounting
hardware for remote blower start/stop assembly
installation. Remove jumper between terminals L and
20 in combination magnetic motor/blower starter
control package as shown in Figures 4 and 5.

7.10 DUST RE-ENTRAINMENT BAFFLE

An optional dust re-entrainment baffle is located below

the conical filter to prevent dust particles already
collected in the dust drawer, drum or pail from being
re-entrained in the airflow once the blower is started.

7.11 PREFILTER

The optional prefilter is a lightweight, disposable filter

media designed to remove dust particles prior to main
filter collection. The optional prefilter is used in
applications involving large, fibrous particles such as
fiber strands from buffing operations or wood particles
from cutting operations.
