11.1 Adjusting thread-pulling knife and control cam

Thread-pulling knife height

The height of the thread-pulling knife is set at the factory using washers 
underneath the knife carrier (3). 

Important

When changing the knives, make sure that you do not lose the washers.

Thread-pulling knife position

The thread-pulling knife (1) cannot be moved on the knife carrier (3). 
Therefore, you will not have to adjust the cutting pressure after replacing 
the thread-cutting knife (1).
In rest position, the thread-pulling knife (1) completely covers the cutting 
edge of the counter blade (2). This prevents the needle thread from being 
damaged.

The pivot range of the thread-pulling knife is 23°.
