DURING OPERATION
•
Be sure the tractor operator is the only person riding on the tractor.
•
Never allow riders on the machine at any time.
•
Keep all bystanders, pets and livestock clear of work area.
•
Keep hands and clothing clear of moving parts.
•
Never enter the CMF-430 while in operation. Rotating parts can entangle or strike people, resulting in
personal injury or death.
•
Operate the CMF-430 from the operator’s seat only.
•
Power takeoff shafts must be locked in place with protective P.T.O. shields in place.
•
Do not exceed load capacity of the CMF-430. (See loading instructions in Section 3.7)
•
Do not clean, lubricate or adjust your CMF-430 while it is moving.
•
Periodically clean the equipment to prevent buildup of dry combustible materials.
•
Be especially observant of the operating area and terrain – watch for holes, rocks other hidden hazards.
Always inspect the area prior to operation.
•
Be extra careful when working on inclines.
•
Pick the most level route possible when transporting across fields. Avoid the edges of ditches or gullies
and steep hillsides.
•
Never leave the CMF-430 running unattended.
•
As a precaution, always check the hardware on the CMF-430 following every 100 hours of operation.
Correct all problems. Follow the maintenance safety procedures.
DURING SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
•
Before working on or near the CMF-430 for any reason, including servicing, cleaning, unplugging or
inspecting machine, use normal shut down procedures unless instructed differently in this manual.
•
Never work on or near the CMF-430 unless engine is shut off, and all power drives and PTO are
disengaged. Always follow normal shutdown procedures.
•
Check periodically and tighten any loose bolts or connections.
•
Where replacement parts are necessary for periodic maintenance and servicing, genuine factory
replacement parts must be used to restore your equipment to original specifications. DuraTech Industries
will not claim responsibility for use of unapproved parts and/or accessories and other damages as a result
of their use. If equipment has been altered in any way from its original design, DuraTech Industries does
not accept any liability for injury or warranty.
