1. CLEANING THE UNIT

1-6. Cleaning the Paper Ejection Outlet Upper Sensor

Remove the folding plate and open

the top cover R.

Insert the nozzle of the dust removal

spray (canned air) into the cut-away
on the sensor cover, and blow air.

Return the folding plate to its original

position.

Close the top cover R.

Folding plate

1-7. Cleaning the Paper Ejection Outlet Lower Sensor

Loosen the two knob screws and

remove the paper ejection guide.

Paper ejection guide

Insert the nozzle of the dust removal

spray (canned air) into the cut-away
on the sensor cover, and blow air.

Reinstall the paper ejection guide to

its original position.

For details on removing the folding
plate, refer to “1-1. Cleaning the
Folding Rollers” (

p.5-2).
