1 Introduction
Dear Customer:
Thank you very much for purchasing our product. We are confident that it will
meet your expectations and perform satisfactorily in your daily routines.
The development, manufacture, and check of the ATEX-compliant exhaust
airflow monitoring unit with fan and activated carbon and particulate fil-
ters has been guided by our concern to offer a device characterized by
superior operation safety and user-friendliness. The unit was manufac-
tured and checked according to state-of-the-art technology and widely
recognized safety regulations.
1.1 Explaining Icons Used
The following expressions and icons are used in this User’s Manual to
refer to safety-related issues:
Caution
This icon indicates that non-compliance may result in a haz-
ardous situation that possibly causes bodily injury or material
damage.
Important
This icon indicates important messages related to the correct
use of the product. Non-compliance may cause problems of
operation and damage to the product.
Info
This icon indicates tips and useful information for using the
product more efficiently and more economically.
Additionally, the following warning, prohibition, and mandatory signs
provided for by ISO 7010 are used on the product with the meaning
defined therein. Some of these signs are applicable not so much to the
product itself as to its operation in an environment involving hazardous
substances.
