MENU 2: Instantaneous fuel consumption
The instrument panel calculates and displays the
vehicle instantaneous fuel consumption, the set unit
of measurement and CONS. text.
The calculation is made considering the quantity of
fuel used and the distance traveled during the last
second. Value is expressed in the set unit of
measurement: liters / 100 km or mpg UK or mpg USA.
The active calculation phase only occurs when the
engine is running and the vehicle is moving (times
when the vehicle is not moving when speed is equal
to 0 and/or when the engine is off are not considered).
When the calculation is not made, a string of three
dashes is displayed " - - . - " steadily as instantaneous
fuel consumption.
Note
It is possible to change the units of
measurement for "Consumption" (both average and
instantaneous together) from L/100 to km/L through
the Setting MENU, using the UNITS function.
