WARRANTY
DROLET WOOD HEATERS SOLD IN AUSTRALIA
The warranty of the manufacturer (SBI - Stove Builder International Inc.) is supported and provided via My Fireplace
Australia Pty Ltd (MFA).
Warranty claims can only be verified or validated once the Manufacturer / Distributor physically inspects the item.
Estimates or opinions prior to attendance do not constitute a quotation or acceptance of liability. Any work that is
done gratis does not constitute an acceptance of liability. Should your unit or component be defective, contact your
authorised dealer/retailer immediately.
All parts and labour costs covered by this warranty are limited to the terms below, unless specifically noted otherwise
in writing by My Fireplace Australia Pty Ltd.
1.
The
firebox (welds only) will be free from defects in materials & workmanship for a period of 15 years from
date of purchase. Pro-Rata Warranty applies.
2.
All
parts & accessories will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the
date of purchase.
3.
At the discretion of MFA, the approved warranty claims shall be honoured through a repair, a replacement
or a refund.
To expedite and validate your claim, please provide the following information:

Your name, address and telephone number, email & postal address
�
Bill of sale (Paid Tax Invoice), noting heater Make & Model
�
Dealer’s / Retailers’ name and contact details
�
Installation configuration – Description, photos and/or video
�
Certificate of compliance – where deemed necessary under the Sates Building Act
E.g. https://www.vba.vic.gov.au/plumbing/plumber-renewals-requirements/compliance-certificates
�
Serial number and model name as indicated on the nameplate fixed to the back of your heater
�
Nature of defects and any relevant information.
TERMS
1.
The warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser (where the payment of the item has been made in full) and is
not transferable.
2.
The warranty covers brand new products only, which have not been altered, modified nor repaired since shipment from
the factory.
3.
Proof of purchase (dated bill of sale), model name and serial number must be supplied when making any warranty claim
to your MFA dealer.
4.
The warranty applies to normal residential use only.
