Extension Cords
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Compressor
If the unit shuts down frequently, you may have a low voltage
situation.
Low voltage can also be suspected when:
HANDLING
Unpacking
1. Check for any obvious damage to the carton or its contents.
If damage is evident, DO NOT use. Notify Drive or your local
Dealer.
2. Remove all the loose packing from the carton.
3. Carefully remove all the components from the carton.
NOTE: Retain carton and packing materials for use in shipping of
storing the unit until use is required.
Inspection
1. Examine exterior for nicks, dents, scratches or other damage.
Inspect all components.
Make certain extension cord is in good condition. Make certain
extension cord wire is NOT LESS than 18 gauge for 25 feet.
• The motor does not get up to full power or speed.
• Home fuses or circuit breakers activate when
starting compressor.
• Lights dim or remain dim when compressor is
started.
• Other motor operated appliances fail to operate
properly or too many motor operated appliances
are on same circuit.
