PERMITTED SOLVENTS
The machine can be used with solvents and solvent mixtures for spray-gun cleaning, such as acetone, toluene, xylene, isobutanol
(2-methylpropan-1-ol) that are listed as Group IIA according to IEC 79-20 (EN 60079-20).
Water-based solvents can also be used.
SAFETY INFORMATION
In order to maintain the high safety standard of the unit, you should ensure the following:
- that the unit is installed in the manner prescribed in this manual
- that the unit is used in the manner prescribed in this manual
- that the unit is maintained in the manner prescribed in this manual
- that only original spare parts are used
- that this manual is kept available and in legible condition close to the unit.
The unit is equipped with a safety valve that will interrupt the automatic pre-wash cycle if the lid is opened before the wash cycle
is completed.
Always wear protective solvent-resistant gloves when handling the cleaned and still wet spray-gun.
Personnel suffering from chronic respiratory problems or allergies to solvents used must not operate the machine.
Two fire extinguishers must always be kept nearby when working with flammable solvents.
The spray-gun must be suitable for cleaning in spray-gun cleaning machines (ref. Category 2 according to EN 13463-1/2001)
If plastic drums are used, the openings should be wiped with a damp cloth to avoid static electricity.
SERVICE
Weekly:

Loosen the centre bolt holding the spray-cradle and remove it.

Remove the strainer at the bottom of the washing compartment and clean it.

Clean the washing compartment.

Reassemble the parts.
Monthly:

Remove the five nozzles (see Picture 5) and clean them with clean solvent.
When changing drums:

Check and if necessary clean the strainer on the suction hose for circulating solvent.
WARRANTY
Hedson Technologies AB will replace all faulty parts on the DRESTER 8000 with new parts in accordance with the “Warranty
Terms for Hedson Technologies AB No. 7.2-8”. This warranty only remains valid if the machine is used in the prescribed manner,
and it does not cover the cost of repairs. Always state the machine’s serial number and year of manufacture if making a claim
under warranty. These can be found on the machine’s silver-coloured rating plate. The warranty terms may vary from country to
country. The importer can provide you with details.
