For other countries observe national guidelines.
3.1.1 Special NIOSH requirements

In order to make sure that the correct facepiece size is used, per-
form a fit test. The fit test is to be conducted in accordance with the
requirements outlined in the OSHA Respiratory Protection Stan-
dard 29 CFR, Part 1910.134.
3.2 Preparation for use
3.2.1 Assembling the half mask
1. Arrange the harness.
2. Fit the yoke on the mask body.
3. Fit two new respiratory filters.
3.2.2 Fitting the respiratory filters
1. Hold bayonet-type connector with your hand (refer to figure B).
2. Position two respiratory filters (refer to figure C1: The line
markings must line up!) and insert them until they lock into place
(refer to figure C2) by twisting each respiratory filter downwards
until a stop is felt.
Ensure that the line marking of the respiratory filter is above the
end of the arrow.
CAUTION
When fitting the respiratory filters, make sure that the mask
body is not being kinked.
Otherwise, the mask body could be damaged.
