For applications in accordance with CSA (Canadian Standards
Association), the following should be observed:
Only the performance of the detector part of this instrument for flammable gases
has been tested. The instrument has not been approved for use in mines by the
CSA.
WARNING
The sensitivity must be tested on a daily basis before first use with a known
concentration of the gas to be measured in accordance with 25 to 50 % of the
concentration limit value. The accuracy must be 0 to +20 % of the actual value.
The accuracy can be corrected via calibration.
