Use at ambient temperatures up to -20 °C possible if the oxygen self-
rescuer is at room temperature prior to application and is exposed to a
temperature of -20 °C for no more than 30 minutes.

In the case of single-shift operation with max. 8 hours a day and 5 workdays
per week; in multi-shift operation, the service life is reduced accordingly.
The values relating to respiratory physiology in terms of life time can deviate
from the indicated values due to various usages.

For customers in the field of responsibility of the German employer’s
liability insurance association for miners (BBG):
In the field of supervision of the BBG, the "Recommendations of the
Central Mining Rescue Service of the BBG for the instruction in use
and for the maintenance of oxygen self-rescuers" apply.
They include the schedules agreed with the respective mining
authority for the verification and extension of the application of oxygen
self-rescuers in these companies.
