Nitrox 200

Description
2.3
Feature description
The Nitrox 200 is used to produce gas mixtures containing oxygen and
breathing air. All gas mixtures containing oxygen percentages up to
100
% can be produced. The filling is carried out using the digital
pressure gauge through partial pressure measurement.
It is also possible to fill an external mixed gas supply battery directly,
providing the respective conditions allow this. This includes, among
other things, that the cylinders of the compound can be filled and shut
off individually, as otherwise no complete equalization of the gas is
possible (see also "Product-specific safety notices" on page
23 and
Afterwards, the gas mixture produced should still be checked for the
correct mixing ratio using a gas analysis device, such as the X-
am®
5000, with the O
2
100
% sensor.
2.4
Intended use
The Nitrox
200 is used to make gas mixtures from breathing air
pursuant to EN
12021 and oxygen (e.g. medicinal oxygen). All
mixtures are made with an oxygen percentage of up to 100
% using
partial pressure measurement. The device is designed to be used for
pressure up to 200 bar.
There are 2 different options, a mobile option inside a carrying case
and an option for fixed installation.

WARNING
Modifications and retooling of the device are not permitted.
Dräger accepts no liability for personal injury or material
damage arising as a result of unauthorized modifications.
2.5
Limitations on use
Any use other than that described in the "Intended use" chapter should
be regarded as non-intended use. This includes the following uses of
the product, which are non-intended:
Use for the filling of other products than those described
Use for mixing unsuitable substances, such as helium
2.6
Operating and display elements
The Nitrox 200 has a digital pressure gauge to determine the pressure.
The O
2
measurement module, consisting of a Dräger X-am®
5000
with an O
2
100
% sensor, is used to determine the oxygen content in
gas mixtures.
In addition, the Nitrox 200 features valves to relieve the internal device
pressure or fill the device.

NOTICE
The associated instructions for use must be read and
adhered to for the operation of the X-am® 5000.
2.7
Adapter and hoses
The Nitrox 200 carrying case option is equipped with two adapters and
two hoses for the operation with 200 bar.
The adapters and hoses are also available for the wall option.
