Fitting the mouthpiece
1. Open packaging. To keep the
mouthpiece hygienic, retain
the portion to come in contact
with mouth covered by
packaging until mouthpiece is
correctly fitted to the
instrument.
2. With the grooved markings
facing up, press the
mouthpiece into mouthpiece
receptacle until audible sound
confirms correct engaging.
3. Remove packaging
completely and commence
breath test.
The mouthpiece can be used
with left or right orientation.

Switching ON and OFF
3.6.1
Switching ON

Keep
- button pressed for approx.
1 second until start window is displayed.
The device performs a self test.
3.6.2
Switching OFF
z
Keep
- button pressed.
The instrument switches off after
2 seconds.
3.6.3
Automatic switch OFF
z
The instrument switches off
automatically 4 minutes after the last
use.
z
When the batteries are discharged the
instrument switches off automatically.
