5.3.4 Processing measuring data on the
PC
The Digox 6 offers several ways of processing
measuring data on the PC and to save them as a
file:
•
Online logging
•
Reading out the continuous logger and the
measuring point logger (optional)
•
Reading out the measuring data via MS Excel
Preparation
Connect the PC to the Digox 6 and start
DigoxWin.
5.3.4.1 The online data logger
Data currently measured at the Digox 6 are
represented on the PC in the online mode. The
online data logger can be used to save the data.
1. Activate the online mode. Click the icon (5)
(figure 5.7) or select menu item
COMMUNICATION/ ONLINE.
2. The online logger is displayed.

A maximum of 4,000 is possible,
if there are more than 4,000, DigoxWin will
automatically create a new logger file with
the file number 02.
5 Button for starting/stopping the recording
6 Close the online mode window.
NOTE:
A new file will be automatically created with every
new starting of the online mode.
Online logger files are saved automatically by the
DigoxWin program.
The files are saved on the PC in the subdirectory
named \Logger and can be opened through the
icon (1) (figure 5.6) or the menu item FILEI\
OPEN. In order to save, you must have enough
free memory on your hard disk.
WARNING!
The hardware was not designed for simultaneous
operation of the continuous data logger in the
Digox 6 and of the online mode and should
therefore be avoided. If this is not observed, the
fault message "EEPROM-Error at ...“ may appear
on the Digox 6 display (also refer to section 7).
