3. Put the above lying box back on top. Take care thereby that the boxes sit correctly
on top of each other and the gaskets between the boxes are not damaged.
4. Close the 4 snap locks at the top of the filter box.
7.4 Maintenance of the Filter Control Valve
7.4.1 Condensation Drain
The level of condensation must never rise above the maximum mark (inspection win-
dow on the filter bowl).
1. Place a receiving reservoir under the filter bowl.
2. Open the knurled screw at the lower end of the filter bowl by turning it counter-
clockwise.

The condensate is drained.
3. Close the knurled screw at the lower end of the filter bowl again.
7.4.2 Replacing the Filter Cartridge
The filter cartridge cannot be washed.

) in case of the following indications:
▪ Low flow despite unmodified pressure setting
1. Turn off the controls.
ð The main valve is closed and the system is vented.
2. Push the unlocking slide downwards in the direction of the arrow.
3. Turn the filter bowl counter-clockwise.
4. Turn the filter plate counter-clockwise.
5. Replace the filter cartridge. Grasp the new filter cartridge at the lower end. A sup-
port span is fitted in the new 5 μm filter cartridge.
6. Tighten the new filter cartridge with the filter plate hand-tight.
7. Fit the individual parts in the reverse order.
Check the following:
a) The locking pin of the filter bowl must face the large recess in the housing.
b) The unlocking slide must be heard to clip into place when the end stop is
reached.
