SPREAD PATTERN ADJUSTMENT
The spread pattern and amount of material dispensed
depend on hopper chain drive speed, feed gate
position, and shutter deflector setting.
• Decreasing hopper drive speed and/or gate
opening will decrease the amount of material
coming to the spinner.
• Increasing hopper drive speed and/or gate
opening will increase the amount of material
coming to the spinner.
Material spread pattern is directed to left, right, or
center by the movable shutter deflector. Lift the handle
and set in the desired notch. The arrow points in the
direction of material flow.
• Handle in the left and center-left notches: Material
is directed to the left (driver's) side of the vehicle.
• Handle in the center notch: Material is directed
evenly to both sides of the vehicle.
• Handle in the right and center-right notches:
Material is directed to the right (curb) side of the
vehicle.
