Automatic self-test:
The automatic self-test includes the following functions:
- Daily self-test
- Monthly / annual self-test
- Manual self-test
Daily self-test:
The daily self-test tests whether the battery is correctly installed or has problems in its
function.
LED lights up green: The battery is fully functional.
LED flashes red once every 3 seconds: The battery is not connected or is defective. The
LED flashes until the problem is completely solved.
Monthly / annual self-test:
During the self-test, the light switches on automatically and lights up according to the
duration of the self-test.
The duration of the monthly self-test is 10 minutes and that of the annual self-test is 3
hours.

Manual test:
The test button includes the following functions:
1. press once: The start time for the self-test is reset.
2. press and hold the test button for 3 seconds: The light automatically switches to self-
test mode for 5 minutes - The test procedure of the manual self-test is the same as the
monthly self-test.
General functions of the self-test:
- Test if the light source has problems:
Green LED: lights up after the self-test if the light source has no faults.
Red LED: flashes 2x every 3 seconds if the light source is defective.
It flashes until the problem has been solved.
- Battery capacity test (3 hours):
Green LED: lights up after the self-test if the battery has enough capacity.
Red LED: flashes 3x every 3 seconds if the battery capacity is too low.
It flashes until the problem has been solved.
