Intended use
The
aquaros 5
pool spot is designed for illuminating pools, indoor swimming pools and water basins
and their environments from under water. The maximum immersion depth is 5 m. Following correct
installation, the
aquaros 5
is waterproof and insensitive against common influences under water. It
is suitable for salt water / brine with a salt content of less than 3.5%.
The spot is meant for operating with protective low voltage and must exclusively be operated using
a power supply that complies with the EN 61347-2-13 standard for electronic control gear for LED
modules.
In case of detailed lighting planning, please request the light distribution curves (LDC). The
aquaros 5
Pool lamp should be installed only with the specially available for them mounting kit (mounting
sleeve and sealing flange). The assembly is adapted to the nature of the pool.
Note on the installation to be carried by an expert
The installation may only be carried out by appropriately trained professionals.
Safety instructions
During installation, the relative safety regulations have to be followed. The spot is operated
with protective low voltage. To avoid danger and failures, prior or any work at the spot or
installation, disconnect the power supply from the mains. The spot can’t be opened. Con-
nect the sport only to power supplies with the appropriate output voltage.
