Installing a Sanit storage heater (Optional)
The procedure for making the correct electrical connection of a Sanit domestic hot water storage
heater with the
Evolution EV AC
boiler is as follows:
- Connect a hot water temperature sensor (supplied optionally) to the sensor terminal strip
J3
(terminals 13 and 14). To do this, firstly remove the resistor (
Ra
) which is supplied with the same
(see the "Connection Diagram").
- Insert the temperature sensor bulb in the bulb sheath in the storage heater.
- Connect the storage heater charging pump to the supply terminal strip
J2
(terminals 6 and 7)
(see the “Connection Diagram").
To correctly make the hydraulic installation, carefully follow the assembly and connection
instructions enclosed with the storage heater.

Anti-legionnaire’s disease function (with storage heater only)
When the Sanit storage heater is installed with the
Evolution EV AC
boiler, the anti-legionnaire’s
disease function can be activated for the hot water in the storage heater.
This function must be activated by sufficiently qualified personnel. This is done by changing the
boiler model selectors, which are located on the display card inside the control panel.
Before carrying out any operations inside the boiler,
switch off the electrical supply to the
appliance
. To activate the anti-legionnaire’s disease function, remove the top cover from the boiler
and use a screwdriver to remove the cover of the control panel box, removing the two screws
holding it in place. The electronic display board can then be accessed, where the programming
selectors are located.
The anti-legionnaire’s disease function is selected by turning
selector nº 4
to
ON
position (see
“Electrical Diagram").

Installing the Underfloor Heating Kit SRAC2/EV (Optional)
The procedure for correctly making the electrical connection between the Underfloor Heating Kit
SRAC2/EV and the
Evolution EV AC
boiler is as follows:
- Connect a flow temperature sensor (supplied with the kit) to the sensor terminal strip
J3
(terminals 12 and 13). To do this, firstly remove the resistor (
Rr
) supplied with the same (see the
“Connection Diagram").
- Mount the temperature sensor bulb in accordance with the instructions enclosed with the kit.
- Connect the heating pump to the supply terminal strip
J2
(terminals 8 and 9) (see the
“Connection Diagram").
- Connect the 3-way mixing valve motor to the supply terminal strip
J2
(terminals 10 and 11) (see
the “Connection Diagram").
To correctly make the hydraulic installation, carefully follow the assembly and connection
instructions enclosed with the kit SRAC2/EV.
