This manual is an introduction to the PowerGate™ modem. It is a guide for working with the
modem. The manual is organized into five chapters:
Chapter 1:
INTRODUCTION TO THE POWERGATE™ MODEM : provides general information
on the PowerGate™ modem, and introduces its key features and benefits;
Chapter 2:
GETTING TO KNOW THE POWERGATE™ MODEM: introduces the front and rear
panel components;
Chapter 3:
INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION: explains how to install and configure a
PowerGate™ modem in a system;
Chapter 4:
OPERATING MODE: provides information on how the modem functions in normal
operating conditions and how to upload a new firmware to it. It also gives instructions for obtaining
assistance from our technical support personnel.
Chapter 5:
SPECIFICATIONS: provides product specifications with respect to electrical and
mechanical characteristics.
