IMPORTANT
: The wires in the mains lead of this appliance are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
GREEN-AND-YELLOW:
EARTH
BLUE:
NEUTRAL
BROWN:
LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: the wire
which is coloured GREEN-AND-YELLOW must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked
with the letter E or by the earth symbol
or coloured
green or green-and-yellow. The wire which is coloured
BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
WARNING - THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED!
If a 13-amp (BS 1363) fused-plug is used, it should be fitted with a 3-amp fuse. In other
cases, the circuit to which the refrigerator is connected should be fitted with a 5-amp fuse.
To turn on
Turn thermostat knob

clockwise to position 7/MAX.
Only after approximately 1 hour will the unit become
noticeably cool (frost on evaporator).
The temperature can be regulated using the thermostat
knob:
0 = off, 1-7 increasing degrees of coolness.
After sufficient cooling (approximately 5 hours), the
thermostat position can be set to a lower temperature,
between 2-5. The thermostat will now automatically
regulate the set temperature.
To turn off
Turn thermostat knob

anticlockwise to position 0 (a slight resistance will be felt just
before this position).
Pull out mains plug.
7. D/C operation
Do not use any additional form of energy (mains/gas). A safety fuse must be installed in
the electricity supply between battery and mobilCooler in a duct.
