Masterkey wafers
MK wafers are used to permit locking variations in accordance with the specified
locking plan. A lock cylinder without MK wafers can only be locked by one key, while
a lock cylinder with MK wafers can be locked by different keys.
You can use the figures in the cylinder assembly fittings table to identify which and
how many MK wafers you must use. The figures that are listed vertically beneath a
core pin number (in grey) tell you which gradations are required for the relevant core
pin in the cylinder.
As can be seen from the table, a double gradation (MK gradation) is always allowed
for each pin position in locking systems. Once defined, the relevant even (0, 2, 4, 6)
or odd (1, 3, 5, 7) value for each pin position cannot be changed. The mounting di-
rection of the MK wafers is not important.

MK wafers are
0.8 mm, 1.6 or 2.4 mm long.
One MK gradation corresponds to 0.8 mm.
Here:
You must place
3 MK wafers

).
Please do not add any
HS discs
to the
sixth core pin (6)
in this case.
