• Do not apply water flow stronger than allowed
( → P35). IPX5 waterproofness on L-05D
may not be able to protect itself from getting
wet, and therefore cause electrical shock,
corrosion of the battery, etc.
• Never try to charge when this terminal is wet.
• Do not wash with washing machine etc.
• This terminal does not float on water.
• Do not put directly on beach.
- Sand etc. may get inside of earpiece,
microphone, speaker etc., and the volume
become low.
- Sand etc. may get inside of microUSB
connection terminal or earphone/microphone
terminal etc., and the waterproofness may
not be effective.
- Using this terminal with waterdrop or sand
etc. may cause noise.
- Even a tiny amount of sand etc. gets stuck
in the back cover, water exposure may result.
• Do not leave waterdrop in earpiece, microphone
and speaker. Malfunction may result.
• Do not leave waterdrop in microUSB
connection terminal and earphone/microphone
terminal. This terminal may short out.
■ Back cover
• Do not attach/detach the back cover when
your hands or this terminal is wet.
• The rubber seal of back cover is important to
maintain the waterproofness. Do not peel or
damage the seal. Also, avoid the seal from dust.
• In case the rubber seal of back cover is
damaged or deformed, bring it to a specified
DOCOMO repair center to replace.
• Do not insert a sharp object into a gap of
the back cover. The rubber seal may get
damaged, and water exposure may result.
• In case the back cover is damaged, replace
it. Electric shock and corrosion of the battery
etc. may result when water gets inside.
• In case liquid such as water is poured when
the back cover is open, the liquid get inside
and electric shock and malfunction may
result. Do not use in such case. Turn off
this terminal and remove the battery pack.

■ Others
• The supplied accessories and optional
accessories have no waterproofness.
• Operation in all situation is not guaranteed for
actual use. Note that malfunctions deemed
to be caused by user’s fault are not covered
by the warranty.
