Updating Software
Software Update is a function that connects
to the network to check whether software
on L-05D needs to be updated, downloads
the software when required, and updates
the software. Since it is the function used
to update the applications installed in this
terminal, both 3G connection and Wi-Fi
connection is available.
The NTT DOCOMO website provides information
about required software updates.
There are 3 methods of updating software:
Auto Update
: Automatically download the
update file and install it at a
preset time.
Immediate
Update
: Perform an immediate update.
Scheduled
Update
: Perform the update automatically
at the scheduled time.
Note
• You can update software while still
retaining data (such as phonebook,
camera images, emails, downloaded data,
etc.) on this terminal. However, such
data may not be protected depending on
the state of your terminal (malfunction,
damage, exposure to water, etc.). We
recommend that you make backups
of important data, to be prepared for
unexpected trouble. Please note that
some data, such as downloaded data,
cannot be backed up.
