*1 IPX5 means that a phone keeps functioning
after applying a jet flow of 12.5 L/min.

using water nozzle of 6.3 mm inner diameter.
*2 IPX7 means that a phone keeps functioning
after this terminal is slowly submerged to
depth of 1 m in static tap water at room
temperature, left there for approximately
30 minutes and then taken out.
You can use this terminal in the rain, in a
kitchen, at a poolside etc. However, make sure
to observe the following points to avoid water
ingress.
• You can talk or watch 1Seg without an
umbrella in the rain (for rainfall of 20 mm or
less per hour).
• Do not attach/detach the back cover when
your hands or this terminal is wet.
• You can wash this terminal by gently shaking
in a sink of fresh water or in tap water at
room temperature, or by hands with tap water
at weaker water flow.
- Wash this terminal with the back cover
closed.
- Do not pour water directly on earpiece,
microphone, speaker, microUSB connection
terminal or earphone/microphone terminal.
- Do not use brush, sponge, soup, detergent
etc. when you wash this terminal.
- Wipe off moisture on the surface with dry
cloth and drain the water after washing.

• Do not put or drop this terminal in pool water
or seawater. Also, do not use this terminal
under water.
