1. WARNING SYMBOLS
Symbols used in this manual focus user attention on various possible emergency
situations. Safety symbols and explanations thereof shall be carefully read and understood.
The warnings do not eliminate risks and do not replace appropriate actions to be taken to
avoid possible injury or accidents.
This symbol emphasizes importance of safety regulations, which mean
«caution», «warning» or «danger». Failure to heed this warning may result in
an accident to the user or others. Adhere to these instructions to avoid risk of
injury, fire or electric shock.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT
This hammer drill is the manual electric tool intended for:
• holes drilling with hammer action in brickwork, concrete structures, natural
stone or asphalt;
• ramming, splitting and expanding not very durable materials: concrete structures,
brickwork, asphalt, of sedimentary rocks;
• holes drilling without hammer action in metals, wood, ceramics, as well as in various
synthetic materials.
A principle of the hammer drill operation is very simple: a pneumatic mechanism is
used to generate an impact impulse directed to material processed. Core through striking
mass transfers impact to boring bit, peak or bit, backward motion of which is caused due
to elastic properties of material processed. Thus, the hammer drill drills holes in brickwork,
concrete, and natural stones much more efficient than impact driver.

Household series. After continuous work during 15-20 minutes it is recommended
to stop hammer drill and resume work in 5 minutes. Recommended running time
of hammer drill a week not more than 20 hours.
