Histogram 

Tab: 

 

 
 

This tab displays histograms, sets integration times and initiates data 
logging. 

 

Accumulation count

: 

 

Accumulation count

 sets the number of cycles of 

accumulation 

time

 to be performed.  The present cycle is displayed.  The set 

point is set using the slider, or by direct entry. When the present 
cycle exceeds the set point, the histogram stops running, the 
display holds and the record file completes. If  

forever

 is selected, 

the instrument cycles indefinitely, showing the present cycle 
number. 

 

 

Accumulation time: 

Accumulation time 

sets the length of time over which counts will 

be accumulated.  At the end of the set time, the histogram data will 
be written to the record file (if enabled) and the histogram will be 
reset.  Set the accumulation time using the 

hrs min sec

 sliders. 

 

 

Run

: starts the histogram, resets the accumulation cycle to zero. 

Record

: initiates histogram logging, prompt will ask for file name. 

Choosing an existing file will append data with a new header.
