6. Before tightening the brace, make sure the rear section is positioned evenly on
both sides of the patient.
7. To tighten the brace, slip your thumb through the hole in the pull tab. Pull away
from your body. When tightened, secure the pull tab to the loop exterior. Adjust
compression as needed.

BRACE REMOVAL
8. Detach the pull tab from the loop exterior to loosen the brace. Unhook donning
mitt from the loop exterior and remove brace.
ADJUSTING PULL TAB LENGTH (OPTIONAL)
9. Remove lace spool from the pull tab pocket and wind lace around the spool to
shorten the length of the pull tab. Unwind lace from the spool to lengthen the
pull tab. (

10. Insert lace spool back into pull tab pocket.
