Pump Belt

the belts are not adjustable. Replace belts if they
begin to slip from wear.

Replacing Pump Belt

Park the mower on a level surface. engage the
parking brake.

Belt Removal

From the top side of the deck:

Remove the deck belt (see

Deck Belt Removal

this section of the manual).
tilt seat forward to access fan covers. Remove

both fan covers.

Remove fan covers

Adjust belt tension by turning the eyebolt until

there is approximately

" -1" of threads showing

outside the nut.
Belt tension should be set to 60-70 lbs.

Replace belt shields on both mandrel housings

and secure with fasteners.
Replace foot plate.
