9 Changing the batteries
CAUTION
Risk of explosion due to improper replacement!
Incorrectly used batteries may explode and damage the unit or injure the user.
¾ Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent type.
¾ Never charge batteries.
¾
Do not throw batteries into fire or expose them to excessive heat.
¾ Do not short-circuit batteries.
The symbol in the display and in the DITECH Smart Home iL app indicates low
battery voltage. Replacing the batteries:
1. Pull the device from the frame and the mounting plate (see fig. 5 page 4).
2. Remove the batteries from the back of the device (see fig. 6 page 5).
3. Insert two new batteries of the type R03/Micro/AAA according to the marking.
4. Install the interchangeable frame onto the mounting plate.
5. Position the room control unit Display onto the mounting plate and latch it
into the clips.
9 The display changes to the normal indication.
9 The device is now ready to operate.
