Clean Oil Cooler
Clean oil cooler/radiator with compressed air or
spray wash every 50 hours of operation. Clean
more often if operating in dusty or grassy
conditions. Be careful not to damage fins with high-
pressure air or water.
To clean:
1.
Clean fins with compressed air or spray wash.
2.
Remove grill and spray through cooling fins
away from engine.
3.
If grease and oil are present on cooling fins,
spray with solvent and allow to soak overnight.
Check Belt Tension
Check belt tension every 50 hours. Belt is properly
tensioned when it moves about 3/8” (10 mm) when
pushed. If belt is loose, loosen alternator bolts (1)
and adjust alternator. Retighten bolts.
