Recommended Lubricants/Service Key

Proper lubrication and maintenance protects Ditch Witch equipment from damage and failure. Service
intervals listed are for minimum requirements. In extreme conditions, service machine more frequently.

Use only genuine Ditch Witch

®

parts, filters, approved lubricants, TJC, and approved coolants to maintain

warranty. Fill to capacities listed in “Specifications” on page 175.

For more information on engine lubrication and maintenance, see your engine manual.

Diesel engine oil meeting or exceeding Deutz DQC-II_05, API CI-4, ACEA E4, or Global
DHD-1. Use viscosity grade SAE 15W40 unless ambient temperature below 5°F (-15°C)
are expected. Lower viscosity oils must meet the performance specifications shown
above. See “Approved Fuel” on page 137.
