When working with the cylinder vacuum cleaner, pull if
after you like a sleigh. Follow the respective recommen-
dations of the flooring manufacturers.
3.2
Switching off and
retracting power cord
1.
Switch off the cylinder vacuum cleaner with the on/off
switch (Fig. 13/1) and pull the plug from the mains sock-
et.
2.
Keep the plug in your hand.
3.
Push the cord retracting button (Fig. 13/2) to retract the
power cord.
3.3
Transport and storage
To
transport
the cylinder vacuum cleaner you can car-
ry it by the handle (Fig. 1/7).
To
store it
or when not working with it you can hook the
parking-hook onto the parking-bracket (Fig. 14).
It is recommended to first retract the telescopic tube.
Before
storing
it for a longer time empty the dust con-
tainer an dispose

of it in an orderly manner.
Always store the appliance in a cool, dry place and out
of reach of children.
NOTE:
With the bypass vent (Fig. 12) you can quickly reduce
suction power if less suction is needed, e.g. to release
objects accidentally sucked in.

WARNING:
Danger of injury! During retraction the power cord can
whip around, become an obstacle or overthrow objects.
Therefore keep the plug in your hand and guide it during
retraction of the power cord.

ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat sources (e.g.
stoves or radiators). Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
The heat might damage the appliance.
