OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TRANSPORTING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR BLOWERS EQUIPPED WITH 1000 RPM
GEARBOX - FIGURE 9
1. Remove the tractor end of the PTO.
2. Use the safety chain (item 1) to fasten the Blower
end of the PTO (item 2) to the Blower Tow bar (item
3).
NOTE: Always use a hitch pin with a safety pin (item 4,
fig. 8) for travelling.
WARNING: A 6,400 lb. (2910 kg) capacity
safety chain must be used when the Forage
Blower is being transported on a public
road.
When the chain has been fastened, make a test run by
moving the tractor forward and turning to the right and to
the left to check the chain length. Should the chain be
too short, or too long, make the necessary adjustments
before going on public roads.
