System Overview

AlphaServer 1000 Rackmount Owner's Guide   1-3

The Windows NT (ARC) console firmware has a menu-based interface designed to
facilitate hardware interaction with the Windows NT operating system.

The OpenVMS and DEC OSF/1 (SRM) console firmware has a command line interface
designed to facilitate hardware interaction with the DEC OSF/1 or OpenVMS operating
systems.
