Notes
•
Although the following countries - Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein – do not belong to the
European Union, they do apply the European Directive 1999/5/EC.
•
The maximum limits for the radiated power are specified in EIRP (Effective isotropic radiated
power). The EIRP level of a device can be calculated by adding the gain of the employed antenna
(specified in dBi) to the value of the available power radiated from the antenna connector
(specified in dBm).
Use of external antennas
The product complies with the norms and restrictions of the regulations in force when used with the antenna
supplied within the package. In case the user removes the original antenna and uses a different one, he
must ensure not to infringe or exceed the limits or restrictions imposed internally and externally by the
national norms in force in that country.
Setting of the Regulatory Domain (usable channels)
Products are supplied with the Regulatory Domain setting for the European Union (ETSI). The Regulatory
Domain defines which channels are accepted for usage in that specific local context (country or list of
countries).
