Interface:
select the interface for the Dynamic DNS service.
LAN
The Vega Video will notify the DDNS Server with the IP address assigned by the LAN
port. This option can be selected both on the Vega Video Ethernet and the Vega Video
GPRS.
Wi-Fi
The Vega Video will notify the DDNS Server with the IP address assigned by the WLAN
port. This option is available on both Vega Video versions.
GPRS
The Vega Video GPRS will notify the DDNS Server with the IP address assigned by the
phone company in the GPRS connection This option is not available with the Vega
Video Ethernet.
Server:
enter the address of the Server offering the Dynamic DNS service.
Update request period:
enter the time frequency (expressed in seconds) for the IP address notification to
the Server offering the Dynamic DNS service. Only values between 10 and 999999 seconds are
accepted. With a GPRS Interface we suggest to set the value on 20.
Status:
in this field you can check the status of the registration to the Server offering the Dynamic DNS
service.
Off
Disabled service.
Unreachable
Deactivated interface (e.g. deactivated GPRS Internet connection or LAN wireless
link).
Updated
Registration to the Server properly performed.
“msg”
General messages received directly from the Dynamic DNS Server.
