CAUTION

After turning the ENGINE MASTER OFF, wait until the engine

indications on the G1000 MFD (if installed) or MED (if

installed) disappear prior to switching the ELECTRIC

MASTER OFF. This ensures that engine and flight data can

be written to non-volatile memory before removing electrical

power.

CAUTION

Do not shut down an engine by placing the FUEL VALVE in

the OFF position. The high pressure fuel pump can otherwise

be damaged.

NOTE

Before shut-down the engine must run for at least 1 minute

with the POWER lever set up to 10% load to avoid heat

damage of the turbo charger.
