§9.3 - Main external control boxes on column lifts with hydraulic closure [ref. OVH004 or OVH011]

DHOLLANDIA offers various control boxes, that may be purchased along with our liftgate upon initial order or may be purchased 
and retrofitted to your liftgate later. Please see www.dhollandia.com for further information or contact your national DHOLLANDIA 
distributor. See page 4 for contact info.  

• 

Toggle-switch  controls  [ref.  OAE017.PR],  powered  by  a  dashboard  mounted  ON/OFF  switch  in  the  vehicle  cabin  (see  §9.5  on 
page 40), are commonly used in North-America. These controls and their main alternatives are operated as shown below.

Operation: 

 

• 

While operating the liftgate, ALWAYS bear in mind the warnings on “Danger zones, risk of crush and shear injury” included in 
§7.3 from page 18 onwards, and the instructions on “Safe operator position” included in §7.5 from page 23 onwards. 

• 

The use of the controls from an unsafe position can put the operator at great risk of serious bodily injury and death.
