Chapter 7
Video Configuration
This section configures video settings. Note that the configuration options vary depending on
the “Boot type” selected in the “Boot” menu.
Internal Graphics Device
Enable, disable or automatically detect the internal graphics.
Note that this option
will be shown only if the “Boot type” is set to “Dual” or “UEFI”.
Boot display
Prioritize device combination for display during system boot with the following
options. Note that this option will be shown only if the “Boot type” is set to “Dual”
or “Legacy”.

LCD+DP
DVI+DP
DP+DVI
LVDS Panel Supported
(This option may not be available depending on the
model)
Enable this option to configure your LCD panel with the following configurations:
PTN3460 Configuration
Select the color depth from the following options:
18bit, 24bit, 36bit, and 48bit.
LCD Panel Type
Select the resolution for the LCD panel from the following op-
tions: 800x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1366x768, 1280x1024, and 1920x1080.
Backlight Type
Select the backlight type from the following options: PWM, DC,
PWM, and DC.
Primary Display
Select the primary display for the system. Note that this option will be shown
only if the “Boot type” is set to “Dual” or “UEFI”. The options are Auto or
IGFX (internal graphics), PEG and PCI. The order of video device initialization
will be as follows:
Auto mode: PEG (PCIe Graphics devices connected to PEG lanes) -> PCIe
graphics devices -> PCI graphics devices -> IGFX (internal graphics)
IGFX: IGFX (internal graphics) -> PEG (PCIe Graphics devices connected to
PEG lanes) -> PCIe graphics devices -> PCI graphics devices
PEG: PEG (PCIe Graphics devices connected to PEG lanes) -> PCIe graphics
devices -> PCI graphics devices -> IGFX (internal graphics)
PCI: PCI graphics devices -> PCIe graphics devices -> PEG (PCIe Graphics de-
vices connected to PEG lanes ) -> IGFX (internal graphics)
