2.6 Jumper Settings for Clearing CMOS Data
Clear CMOS Data - Jumper JP3
If, for some reason, the CMOS data
becomes corrupted or you forgot the
supervisor/user/keyboard password, the
system can be reconfigured with the
default values stored in the ROM BIOS.
To load the default values, power off your
system and
unplug the power cord
. Set
JP3 pins 2 and 3 to On. Wait for a few
seconds and set JP3 back to its default
setting, pins 1 and 2 On. You may now
plug the power cord and power-on your
system.
2-3 On:
Clear CMOS Data
1-2 On: Normal
