5.1. Hardware setup
5.1.1. Start up of the device
Please connect the device via USB to PC. Note that power supply is not needed unless you want to
power external devices from DS-CAN2 (like CPAD2 module). Then make sure that the device is
connected to the PC when starting up DewesoftX®.
The device will be automatically recognized and shown in the Device settings.
