Useful transmission and reception functions

FK-506

In order to perform a direct fax transmission, settings must be specified for 
the following in the "NETWORK SETTING" menu (which can be displayed 
after selecting "ADMIN. MANAGEMENT" in the "UTILITY" menu).

Detail 

For details on the network settings, refer to the user manual for image 
controller IC-206 or network interface card NC-503.

Parameters that must be specified for direct faxing

Parameter

Specify the network settings for this machine.

SUBNET MASK

GATEWAY

GATEWAY TX

To allow use of the direct fax transmission 
function, select "ENABLE". To prohibit use of 
the direct fax transmission function, select 
"DISABLE".
