Useful transmission and reception functions

–

If a polling ID is not to be specified, continue with step 8.

–

The polling ID can be set to any number between 0000 and 9999.

–

If there is only one polling transmission document to be registered,
it is not necessary to specify a polling ID and password.

–

To correct the entered number, press the [Clear/Stop] key, and then
type in the correct number.

–

If no password is to be specified, press the [OK] key, and then
continue with step 8.

Use the keypad to type in the password (four digits), and then press the
[OK] key.

–

The password can be set to any number between 0000 and 9999.

–

To correct the entered number, press the [Clear/Stop] key, and then
type in the correct number.

Press the [Start] key.

–

If a document for polling is in a mailbox, "

" appears in the main

screen.

Scanning begins, and then the machine enters a standby mode.

To stop scanning and registering the document, press the [Clear/Stop]
key, and then select "YES" in the screen that appeared.

Detail

To cancel polling transmission, press the [Function] key, and then select
"CANCEL RESERV." to delete the job. For details, refer to "Canceling
(deleting) a queued transmission" on page 3-35.
